Ziggy’s 5 Minute Writing Challenge: More Horror Haiku

Oh, the horror, the horror, the horror…

Okay, you feel like a train just hit your brain and mashed it to a pulp…that’s New Year for you. So, to get you going again, to revitalise your dark creative juices, we’ll do a quick 5 minute writing challenge…let’s hit the haiku trail boys and girls…the year’s a wasting and you gotta get going with your creativity!!!!

But Ziggy? What’s a haiku? I hear you cry from under the ice pack.  Well it’s:

A Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables.

Now, I don’t want to be too prescriptive, so let’s say your little horror poem should have no more than three lines and 13 words AT MOST and should be about something terrifying. Your choice. Your nightmare.

Okay, what are you waiting for? As usual, post your scary poems in the comments section below. No prizes this time as I’m skint as a bint. But, hey, good luck fellow scribes and a HAAAAPPPPYYYY NEEEWWWWWWWWWW YEARRRRRR!!!
